DAM Parts Ways With Guitarist
June 18, 2007U.K. extreme metal band DAM has parted ways with guitarist Lal. "His contributions have played a crucial part in shaping the sound of DAM, and we are sorry to see him go," the group writes in a statement. "We wish him all the best in his future endeavours."
Guitarist and brother-in-arms Dan "Ropeman" Knight of TED MAUL will be handling live guitar duties for the forseeable future. DAM is currently seeking a full-time replacement.
DAM will support legendary Florida death metallers OBITUARY on July 5 at the Underworld in London. Also scheduled to appear is ONSLAUGHT.
In other news, the European release date for DAM's new album, "The Difference Engine", has been moved forward to September 17. A U.S. release has not yet been confirmed.
